INFORMATION FOR PATIENTS REGARDING CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)

We are commited to keeping our most vulnerable patients and staff as safe as possible, therefore we have suspended all routine face-to-face GP appointment bookings. If you have not spoken to a doctor please do not attend the surgery.

If you are asked to attend the surgery you MUST wear a mask or other face covering. Please note we are unable to provide these for you.

In line with the latest advice, if you have a high temperature, new, continuous cough or a loss of taste or smell you should self-isolate for a period of 7 days. There is no need to contact either the surgery or NHS111.

Test Results

When you attend for a test of any kind you will be told how long you should expect to wait for the results. Please bear this in mind and call the surgery after 12.00pm once sufficient time has elapsed.

Our reception staff are not qualified to comment on results therefore it is your responsibility to check them and make any necessary follow-up appointment with the doctor.

Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.
