We no longer offer pre-bookable appointments with doctors.

If you need to speak to us, please either submit an eConsult or call us on 01865 777024. Your query will be triaged by a doctor and you will be contacted back as soon as possible by the most appropriate clinician. This could be a doctor, nurse, Specialist Paramedic, pharmacist, physician associate or social prescriber. 

Your problem may be dealt with over the phone or via video call if appropriate. If however it is best for us to deal with in person then you will be invited to attend the sugery. 

In order for our patients to be treated as quickly as possible we work closely with two of our neighbouring practices, Donnington Health Centre and The Leys Health Centre. Together we run an Acute Hub where patients from all three practices are able to be seen. It is therefore possible that you may be asked to attend a different location if needed

All of the doctors have some telephone appointments available for booking in advance, please speak to our Reception to book one of these. In the interests of continuity of care, please only book a telephone appointment with your named usual GP. If you are unsure who this is please contact us.

Our appointment system for nurses remains unchanged and these are pre-bookable through our Reception.

If you are genuinely unable to come into the surgery you may be able to arrange a home visit. These may be conducted by either a Specialist Paramedic or by a doctor. It may not be possible to request a specific doctor to visit you.

If you need to arrange a visit please call the surgery before 11:00am.

Emergency and urgent calls are accepted at any time.

A five-minute telephone appointment is available if a face-to-face consultation is not necessary (e.g. for discussing results, medication queries or advice).

You may be given a specific time when the doctor will call you back.

It is important that you inform the reception staff if you are unable to attend your appointment, this will allow that appointment to be offered to another patient. If you fail to notify the Practice that you are unable to attend, you will be sent a letter informing you that you have defaulted from your appointment. Persistent defaulters maybe removed from the list.

You can also complete our appointment cancellation notification request form. This can only be used if your appointment has been arranged for more than 24 hours in advance. (excluding weekends and public holidays). You can also text to cancel your appointment.

We have a texting service which allows you to receive confirmation and reminders about your appointments.

To have this service you will need to register by completing a consent form.
